Nothing classic about it.

Ok, so I bought this knowing it was not the original games, but hoping the remakes were at least playable, and that the originals would be in there somewhere to be unlocked. Nope, and again nope.

Really, for a compilation titled "Classics Collection" it should not be too much to expect the ACTUAL classics. Emulation is not that difficult, and these remakes are mostly terrible.

Before trading this game in I tried to get into every one of the included games, but really never got much enjoyment out of any of them. Alien Syndrome was kind of interesting, but too slow and repetitive. Space Harrier was decent, but I'd still rather put quarters into the original machine. Golden Axe is not good at all. Even the Genesis version is better than this piece of dookie.

And that's it. My first review of a less-than-stellar game. A bit late, I know, but if you were considering this, save your money for something else. It's not even worth a rental or a bargain-bin purchase. Sorry.
