A light, nice game which perhaps could have been given a little more spice.

Here's another Scribblenauts game: light-hearted, cute in many ways and playable as you prefer.
It's a game about sibship (if that's actually a word), about love and caring for others, and I approached it with the best intentions and expectancies, as I like to do when playing a new video game, and being able to create whatever I wanted was really appealing.
Scribblenauts Unlimited is a delightful game under most aspects: not too long to finish, a good soundtrack, nice cartoon-ish graphics, endless customization possibilities and many missions to be completed after the actual storyline.
Great for children and "different from other games" for adults, this is a game in which the point is not riding a horse to save the princess, but riding a gigantic invincible laser-eyed icy red Cthulhu with your automatic bazooka to save the turned-to-stone mermaid princess of Atlantis. And as you can imagine, that means way funnier.

But (there's always a but) after a while it feels like it is a bit too easy, invincibility is the answer to anything, and a sleepy chimera on your courtyard is even "more" normal than the scarecrow at your brother's farm. Of course, one could say there are a million ways to get to the end of each level, and that's true, so experimenting something new is always worth trying, but in my humble opinion I find that an even slightly steeper difficulty curve could have been even funnier.

That said, it is certainly a splendid game for kids who have to practice with their knowledge of vocabulary and spelling (and most of all, have fun with dragons, monsters and magic), and for every adult who's not lost imagination and the pleasure to be amazed by the infinite possibilities of creativity.
