The only reason I wanted to play this game, is because this video game was INSPIRED by the live-action movie version of “Scooby-Doo,” which I was a really big fan of! So imagine MY surprise when I found out that this video game actually MANAGED to come out a full YEAR before the live-action movie version came out! (Which DOES explain why the final boss of this game is NOT the same big bad enemy at the climax of the movie). Playing as Shaggy, Scooby, Velma, Fred, and Daphne at different points in the game, each of them have their own strengths and key abilities to find clues in order to solve the mystery, and potentially beat off any bad guys that try to cause them harm. While this video game certainly won’t win any points in terms of being original or TOO innovative, it is STILL a very solid game, containing good graphics, sound, music, controls, and difficulty level. I sure wish more people would be willing to give this video game a good look! They might be pleasantly surprised!
