There's no reviews around? here's 1st one. The game that a lot of you forgot....
So lets start with a story witch is quite good because remembering end i remember being very sad. Gina is gone, Monolo too, and Tony is also dead...:(. So films like Scarface and Miami Vice really created that style of the 80s that some games was took them and make them great like Vice City. But it was exactly about scarface, it was mix of Miami Vice and Scarface all together. So Vivendi "liking this game so much" decided that this was time for Scarface game. And im sure that a lot of movie fans was excited. So you loose you mansion for a while you are alive, and you want Sousa's head on a platter. The Voice acting is done very well unfortunately i cant say that about the graphics.
Miami looks awesome, but game based entirely to rebuilding your empire, and without going to owner after owner who strangely wants to sell their properties there isn't so much to do besides that. Missions however isn't very fun, and near end its almost impossible to complete this game without a cheats cuz missions can be frustrating as hell. Its pretty long game that you have to make deals, and distribute coke to your territories also other gangs will trying to stop you by attacking your properties and you contstantly have to go and defend them isn't much fun at all. You can buy henchmans and security stuff to protect your shops but again they are completely usseles. And the game really can piss you off by thing like you going doing distribution and here's gangs attacking your shop in absolutely other area of the city that you cant possibly go and defend it.
Also ending doesn't pay off at all. You still going to be same crap over and over again to get the money, cuz you need them. Also there's thing called "Pimp my mansion" and WTF is that?
After you finish the game there's nothing good to do but just to pay Vice to secure your ass for being F....D. Yeah Police also ir very annoying thing. And really can piss you off when you have a lot of heat, and when game shows you word you are f... that means you cant just relax and die. Cuz there's no way you cant fight the police back.
Playing with cheats is more fun because you always have fight gangs. So for example you have 40 guys chasing you with AK-47 and chainsaws and then you go to cheat menu and type FPATCH, then you get full balls meter and you can blast them all that's the only aspect of the game that i really enjoyed besides that there isn't much to do.
Speaking of soundtrack it quite well, you have some music from 80s and also solid rock music from today. Problem is that a lot of the music really seem to repeat over and over again.
So to me Vice City wins over by having much more fun than this game. All you need to do is just recreating stuff with booring missions and after you finish it you still gain nothing and it does not pay off at all. Vice City has fun missions, great fee roaming, also you have a lot business opportunities to create so called "Empire". So if you want good 80s style game i recommend Vice City. And Leave Scarface alone in awesome 1983 movie.
