Offers a good side story to the show, but only if you're willing to put up with a horriblle game.

I love the Samurai Champloo TV series, and I really enjoy Samurai style games, but this is the worst game I have played in a long time. The graphics are terrible, if this game had been on PSX the graphics would have been good but this is PS2, come on. There is very little texture work and what is there isn't very good. The 3d models are decent but not great. In fact most of the 'maps' in the game are straight paths about ten feet wide with maybe a bend at the end. The gameplay is nothing but hitting the x button repeatedly with a triangle thrown in once in a while. The voice acting is okay (probably the best part of the game) but far from the quality of the show, even the american version. It's really a shame too, since I was really looking forward to some awesome sword play that Champloo is known for, but you're not going to find it here. All that's here is mashing buttons as fast as you can to take out swarms of enemies.
