Saints row 2 maybe another GTA rip off, but there alot of fun to be had with this game.
The bad: almost always rips off GTA. glitchy graphics and sound. some anoying crashes. easy AI.
Saints row 2 starts of with an epic bang. From the minute you finish your character, your busting out of a prison yard and shooting helicopters. This is only some out of alot of fun youll have in saints row.
Your in stillwater, the city that survived an earthquake (or a flood) and was rebuilt almost entirely. The graphics look great (go out in a thunder storm and cause chaos it looks cool) but unfortunately there are some annoying hitches with the graphics. When v sync is off, its almost unplayable because constant screen tearing, when its on, you deal with an unstable framerate. Plus some of the environment looks 2d, and constant pop up issues.
The sound is great too. Its filled with chatter and (if you cause more chaos)gunshots and explosions.The music is also not that bad. But one anoying sound glitch is when too much boom boom goes on. The background will fade and all youll hear is gunshots (even when nothings going on.)
The gameplay is ripping of GTA 80% of the time, but if you dont mind alittle of the same thing. saints row 2 offers alot of hours of fun. Asides from over 50 missions of taking down gangs, you can do an insuarance fraud were you throw yourself into traffic, fight club were you fight in a prison yard or a ufc like area and fight for money,races (cough,ripped from GTA,Cough),guard celeberties from crazed fans,ride a flaming ATV,play a game called zombie uprising, and so much more
so asides from a couple of nagging issues,(and the fact that the game rips off GTA half of the time, sorry if i said that alot)saints row is only 20.00 right now and id say its worth buying.
