Some strategy elements make it feel unique, but still RUSE is an incomplete mess and excuse for a strategy game.

User Rating: 5.5 | R.U.S.E. PC
Development time being a very influential factor in my review, I find it almost despicable that Ubisoft was capable of retailing such an (repeat) incomplete game. The PC version feels like a complete port from the console versions and the interface is just uncomfortable to use.

Story - 3.0 - The game's story is based around the events of WW2, and although the plot could have been more developed, the actual plot in the game feels cliched and weak, the cutscenes although with nice visuals, present the gamer with poor voice acting and do not carry the game along as they should, to make a longrant short, the game's story had an immense potential that went completely to waste.

Graphics - 8.5 - I would not call them the best graphics ever seen, but on a maxed out PC rather than a PS3 or an Xbox, the details of the environment are great and give an espectacular scenario for the battles that rage throught all the story or even in multiplayer game modes. If RUSE has an excelling part, it's graphics save it from total desmay.

Gameplay - 5.0 - Although not terrible the gameplay feels ported from the console versions and is uncomfortable to use, movement controls feel akward and camera movement delay makes the experience monotonous, this said the combat part, including the ambushes and other unique elements which were RUSE's banner during it's pre-release feel perfect and are fun to use, saving the game from being a mediocre (if you like) copy of World In Conflict.

Soundtrack - 8.0 - Rather than the soundtrack, the rating goes for the environment sound and other special effects such as combat or explosions. RUSE provides a unique environment for player to fight in and particular environment sounds are focused when you zoom in or out of an area.

Price - 2.0 - The game is nowhere near the 50 bucks you will pay for it, it is an unfinished project. 30 bucks would still be a high price for this game as it delivers an uncomfortable experience and it is outrageous that such development went into a game with lost potential.

Overall - 5.3 (Approximation 5.5) - The game is not bad, but it will leave a sour taste on the gamer, although it contains some memorable moments, these are not enough to put it afloat and save it from the shame that a company such as Ubisoft have put themselves for realeasing such a project.
