Runaway will bring back that good old classic adventure feeling, even if its just for a bit
Runaway was charming and funny to play, and i managed to puzzle, laugh and pixel-hunt my way trough in 3 sessions.
The story is very typical really.... "nerdy guy bumps (quite literally though) into a pretty damsel in distress, who then needs to be saved" Altough not everything is what it seems in this one.
Plot-twists and funny, well developed characters, combined with lovely 2d backgrounds make it all come to life. And off course the most important thing...the voice-acting is great aswell.
The puzzles themselves we're very logical, which got me stuck a few times, as i was trying way to hard to look for insane solutions as it seems to be a trend in p&c games lately.. But then after I thought I tried it all, I noticed I just looked over the simplest of solutions.
I cant really think of any big flaws other then that you can end up pixel hunting every now and then, which can get frustrating. But hardened point & clickers wont be bothered by it im sure. They have probably played this long before I did anyway.
All in all yet another great point & clicker to add to a collection of great fun and solid adventure games
