A solid rugby game...although controls are a bit dodgy at times and graphics seem dated.

I am not a huge rugby fan, but it is the sport I watch more than any other. I saw this for £2 and thought I would give it a try. I sure got my moneys worth. I found it very enjoyable playing through all the cups and winning everything as Scotland...mainly because it never seems to happen in real life :).

My only annoyance was that after a while of playing, it suddenly became all too easy to score. You eventually become so good it is no fun anymore. The commentary is also quite good...for the first few minutes, after which you will tend to hear the same things over and over. The graphics are also quite dated, although still very watchable.

My main gripe is with the controls, which are impossible for a keyboard and I found my gamepad was very on and off with it. This may well be my gamepad, but I felt it detracted from my enjoyment of the game.

Overall, if you want a quick and easy game of rugby, this is pretty good. If you are a die-hard fan who wants all the bells and whistles...you won't find it here. Recommended for £2-£3, not much more.
