Gameplay is good but the game itself is rushed.

As a big fan of rugby I was pleased when a newer version of the rugby game came out. Each one so far has been a decent improvement on the last so I had fairly decent expectations for this. However for this game I was more frustrated than anything.
Playing the game was fine it is more fast paced than the previous game so I was pleased with that. The new scrums are improved but there is still no way of fighting back on an opposition put in. Lineouts have actually got worse as the timing on these just mystifies me. You don't seem to have any control over when they jumpers jump and the opposition just seem to go before my jumpers and steal the ball easily. Rucks and Mauls are good although players get turned over far too easily and on a few occasions there have been no opposition there yet I was turned over. The game is still fun to play although these get really annoying. Drop goals are also ridiculous as these were fine last time in my experience now they seem impossible unless directly infront of the posts.
The most dissapointing aspect of this game however is the overall presentation. Players have just been copied from the old rugby 06 and some are just bizarre. For example lewis moody is listed as a centre first and flanker second and Tom Palmer a second row is listed as a scrum half first and his stats are useless which is ridiculous seeings as e is an england international! Other players who are in international teams are given bad ratings by people who obviously haven't bothered too much to update the profiles and teams. Player's positions and other stats are wrong throughout the game and some players are missing completely.
Other parts of the game just seem under developed and rushed, create a player is poor the method of selecting players is tedious as you can't skip through lists quickly you have to trawl through the entire list.
Overall unless you are a big rugby fan then you won't enjoy this as it is the only game for rugby fans and seems as if EA know this as they have put minimal effort in to it.
