RPG Maker is one of the few games that allows the player to be the creator of their own RPG game. It had plenty of characters to choose from, a variety of maps, templates, and designs for the game itself. This game is not for the people who want to create a fantastic game in 30 minutes, developing an RPG game on this game takes time, concentration, and tolerance. Sometimes this game will make you want to pull your hair out, but if you take the time and you experiment and figure out how the system works, then you make the RPG game of your dreams. If you are a PS2 owner or if you still have a PS1, pick this game up if you want to make your own RPG game. This version of the game (compared to RPG Maker 2 and 3) is what I would call the "easiest" version of the game. The other two... I have no clue how do anything on those versions! I prefer this one because developing the game is simple, the other two are much more complex and confusing. But, if you are an RPG fan, give this game a try.
