This is a great great way to make your own RPG. The game is extremely flexable, allowing you to completely edit the stats, level progression of any character in the game. You can edit item stats, what they do. Same goes for enemies. You can edit enemy bevavoir, stats. You can also put in your own music, and graphics if you wish. Almost everything in this game that you can think of can be programed. The program is quite deep, allowing you to do almost anything. In Theory, with this game, you could make Final Fantasy 4, or Final Fantasy 6. It would take you years, but what I said is just an example of how much you can do in this game. All the programing tools are there. If you have the knowledge, you can actually go deeper and edit the script.
The only challenge is balancing the stats of your characters and enemies, so that the game you make is not too easy nor too hard. Keep in mind this is not a "game." It's more like software that allows you to make a game. So if you plan on making a good game, expect to put in lots of time into it, and expect to do LOTS of testing, getting rid of bugs that you create, and much trial and error.
