This program is so much fun! It is so versatile, and makes great 2D RPGs. Whether you stick to the basic RTP style, or expand your horizons with hundreds of thousnads of graphics possibilities and scripting, RPG Maker XP, is superb for gettign you what you need out of a classic RPG experience. You can keep the game simple mellow, and mediocre, y'know just for fun. Or you can get new graphics make custom stuff, and make or get scripts from huge communities. Your not alone out there when your making projects for RPGXP. The graphic are, yeah, 2D. But who cares! The 2D is nice, crisp and fluid. Although the scripting is a hassle to learn, there are tons of scripters out there who know Ruby(RPGXP's scripting language)and are making tons of really neat scripts for you to apply to your projects. The possibilitie are virtually endless with RPGXP, try it out, especially if your an RPG addict.
