This really is the best for those who have ever wanted to make their own RPG.

Rpg Maker 3 is the ideal tool for people who want to create their very own RPG's. This game is much better than RPG Maker 2, primarily because of how much easier it is. I didn't know the first thing about the second game, yet in this game, they decided to make it very user friendly. That being said though, the one thing that makes this game hard, is the event code editor. It is the one thing about the game I still can't completely figure out. There are certain things that are obvious, like making a NPC say something when the main character goes up to talk to him, but there are more advanced options in the event code editior that don't make any sense at all. It doesn't explain it enough on screen, or even in the handbook (well enough) for that matter. Besides the event code editor, though (which I am still trying to figure out), Most people will have a blast creating their own worlds, making towns, creating main characters and giving them special skills, setting up monster battles, etc.
Overall, if you are one of those people who have always wanted to create your own RPG game, and are willing to sacrifice many, MANY hours of your time, and have a few friends who would want to play your game, then RPG Maker 3 is the game for you. If you can't spend a great deal of time on learning how to, then making a game, then obviously, this is not the game for you.
