    BEST GAME EVER

Rome:Total War is possibly the best computer game made. Ever. I'm eager to hear about a Rome:2 Total War, hopefully it will be like Medieval II was to Medieval. The graphics are amazing for the time of the game's creatio... Read Full Review

Despite occasional niggles, the game is still a great evolution of the Total War gameplay.

As it was going from Shogun to Medieval, I resisted buying Rome for quite a long time; not only because I never believed my computer would play it properly, but also because the Roman setting didn't appeal to me very muc... Read Full Review

    Extreme inaccuracies.

This game is very fun as a mindless slaughterfest, but what I'm going to discuss in this review is what few others mention: the absolute lack of realism. Cavalry are godlike, hundreds of men die in seconds...even most of... Read Full Review

Excellent game, with the small details that made it a sucsess!

Rome Total War in my eyes was the best Total War in the series. It gave the Creative Assembly a name for them. And it was the small details that made it, like ports in the distance of battle maps and complex AI to fight ... Read Full Review

    Amazing! Revolutionary! Best in series!

After I played the demo for this game, I decided that I might as well pay the $20 to get the Gold Edition at Target (four years after it first came out!) It was well worth it. I found myself immersed, enjoying the turn... Read Full Review

Pretty nice, addictive and interesenting, but not perfect, not even close to being perfect.

Graphichs - After playing game for about 60 hours, I had tried graphichs only on Low and Medium, but they were pretty cool. I wish I could see how they would be on High (my PC is not so good to run such high graphichs fo... Read Full Review

The pinnacle of real time and turn-based strategy combination.

Game play If you're an experienced turn-based strategy gamer then this will strike you as quaint or even sub par on that aspect. Don't expect research, colony/base establishment, sophisticated diplomacy, and sophisticat... Read Full Review
