Not much new and a few irritating bugs makes this expansion partly dissapointing, but it's still a really good game!

Overall: 7.0/10.
Irritating issues with the game crashing after some heroic victories made me stop playing before winning with the west empire. Although I would strongly recommend this campaign for the experienced strategic – if you for some reason don't get the same problems I got (the original ROME: total war game worked fine for me. Being a expansion, this game doesn't bring much new to the game more then new campaigns.

Graphics: 6.0/10.
You'll have good view of the troops for most of the times, but when taking on epic walls or high hills will make you lose sight of your units and you'll have to change the camera position all the time. I still love the wonderful view of the map and how you move the units around Europe. The menus are solid and easy to read. Still I feel that the game could have a bit more interesting graphics and more details, especially on the battlefields. The fireshowers at night are however a cool new feat.

Sound: 8.5/10.
Still the same music and sounds, and it is still all good.

Gameplay: 7.0/10.
There are new campaigns that differ in difficulty, the hard one is really challenging. But I'm starting to realize that the gameplay of this game perhaps is to repetitive. Maybe there could be more other things to do in between the many battles? Anyhow, there is some problems with ordering the troops, sometimes they attack at will even when the option is unchecked.

Story: 6.0/10.
It is interesting to follow the history of Europe, but then there isn't much that makes this history feel truly active when playing. Maybe adding some longer movies could strengthen the story and make you feel part of history, for real.

Idea: 9.0/10.
It's a great idea to make an expansion that takes place a time after the original game. If the developers would put a little more effort to this game the general score could have match the points of the idea. THNX
