Locked and Loaded Second Time Around

User Rating: 9.5 | Rolling Thunder 2 GEN
As much as I liked the first game the sequel I personal love and felt it completely outdid it's predessor.

Everything in this sequel is perfect. It pritty much continues it's James Bond like plot where both agents Albertross and his beautiful but deadly partner Leia must battle an evil organization from taking over the world.
So what makes this game special, well for one thing as usual it has some well animated cut scenes with some dialog at the bottom to give you more of a feel of plot progression. But that's just an icing this is the cake.

The game actually has a co op mode which the first game lacked, I think this gives the game an even greater sense of participation as well as a teamwork element, you'll be able to cover each other's back anytime needed whether it's odds stacked against you or worse run out of ammo.

Some might complain about the gradual pace of this run in gun game, I really don't mind it at all (you can't handle it tough) in fact that's what gives the game an element of suspense. You have to take just a little time on this game (not too much time though) because, the thing about it is certain obsticales as well as where baddies are placed always feel a step ahead of you, if you make one mistep then it's all over, so tread carefully.

There are even a varity of weapons which is great, as well as enemies, they even had some bosses for once. Soundtrack is good and best of all the enviorments, the erotic amount of detail to them as well as varity. The thing that made this franchise the most popular is the fact that you can use your enviorment to your advantage, they advance this idea even more when you not just jump up and down railings, but you can hide behind corners for cover, change lanes, or advance more up or down depending on the changing enviorment.

Rolling Thunder 2 is one of the best video games sequels as well as run and gun shooters ever, that by today's standards hasn't ran out of ammo yet.
