One galaxy best avoided.

Coming straight out of Dark Chronicle, I was eagerly anticipating playing Rogue Galaxy. What a horrid disappointment that was. I'm not quite sure if it was the horrible pacing or the imprecise controls that first alerted me that this was going to be awful but the feeling set in almost immediately.

This is a clumsy, poorly constructed, poorly paced game with some of the worst jumping I have seen. This game handles like pure garbage.

On the surface level, Rogue Galaxy looks like a really good game. The cell-shaded graphics are adorable and the character models are both expressive and impressive. The game looks damn good, there are no two ways about that. The voice acting (for as long as I could stomach this horrid experience) was solid and the characters both likable and amusing.

It is because of these things that the horrid controls, combat and pacing seem like such a damn shame. This game could have been something truly wonderful, but instead we're left with a particularly shiny piece of turd.

Don't waste your money on this garbage, I regret every minute of my life that I wasted on this.
