Great game for the younger crowd, gaming veterans may be dissapointed.

Simple scrolling shooter with a campy storyline reminiscent of the Buck Rogers serial I used to go see on the weekends at the local theater (yep I am old). My children love this game and I agree that it is a nice, light game that allows my son to shoot the bad guys without a spray of blood to make mom say "no way". For the price its definitely worth it for the younger crowd. There is enough in the game with the over the top cut scenes to keep them interested for hours and get them to keep coming back for more. The weapons changes require some thought and there is a surprisingly deep character customization feature that can motivate you to keep playing to get that next great upgrade. If you are a veteran, then their are better options for your money as you will quickly burn through the game and be looking for more.
