Rocketmen blows up on launch.

Where to start? if I said Rocketmen: Axis of Evil was as excting and enjoyable as taking a dump in a cactus patch , I'd be lying. Taking a dump in a cactus patch would be far more pleasurable than this spewed excrement I slogged through that is Rocketmen.

It was simply the most unenjoyable thing I have played this year, and I've played Scrabble with a group of senile OAP's, it is truly disgraceful and more importantly lazy. Cut scenes are the best example of this lazy behaviour, they are slightly animated comic book-esque boxes that haven't been drawn but modelled from the god awful in-game models and it looks horrible.

What makes this even more unbearable is these "cut scenes" have been accompnied by disasterous voice acting and even more terrible music. The overall package is just ugly.

Things don't improve in game either. The game has seemingly been approached a lot like the fairly alright Super Stardust HD in terms of shooting, as it is assigned to the right analogue stick which to be honest works well in SS:HD but not here, you move and shoot using this stick and most of the time its unprecise aim leaves you out of ammo and dead to the horde of crap martian monsters

You also get the chance to customise your charcter which sounds like a perk but it really isnt, character models are dull and lifeless and this isn't helped by tthe limited customisation options available. Its like the total opposite of Paris Hiltons wardrobe but with the same lifeless character.

Missions are drag on purely because of the poor aiming and even crappier weapons which isn't helped by the mass protest of aliens, they just keep coming like rabbits.Things grow tedious and you really don't feel the nedd to finish the game, even if you do, there is no reason to go back.

Overall I hated every minute of Rocketmen and it is definately the worst title available on PSN. Laclustre acting and unattractive gameplay isn't helped out by an unappealing storyline and dier graphics. I would much rather play Conflict: Denied Ops (and that's saying something).
