Best arcade game since geometry wars

There is no two ways about it: this game is a blast, a riot, or (insert other terrible pun). This game has a little of everything. The controls are very intuitive and simple as it only requires you to use the two thumbsticks and the 'A' button, but it is how you use these buttons that really matter.

The basic premise of the game is that through some horrible evil your legs have been replaced with a rocket pack and your mission is to chase after the main bad guy through 80 levels of mayhem. The learning curve on the game is spot on although some of the later levels can be quite infuriating at the number of missiles and enemies coming at you. Thankfully they give you ways to deal with them.

The game has a total of 20 powerups, 5 offense, 5 defense, 5 random, and 5 diseases(powerdowns) all spectacularly devastating to something, be it the enemies, you, or the fully destructible environment.

I have not had the opportunity to try multiplayer yet, but if the single player is any barometer, the multiplayer should be spectacular. I highly recommend this game.
