Rock Tour is a flop
1) There is no way to save a game. I have tried everything, so it's very frustrating to have to start over.
2) It's not realistic at all when it comes to the prices of some of the instruments. Like $30,000 for a bass guitar?!? C'mon, really? While a really good PA system only costs $7000.
3) There needs to be more "hover" items for your mouse - when you hover over a city where you have your gig, it should pop up, i.e. the date and club venue you are playing.
4) When you are able to play more places, the map gets smaller and smaller. Sometimes, the icon (van) that represents your band covers the star (city or club), thus making it impossible to click on the star to book your next date.
5) "Real time" moves very fast, even on a 1 out of 3 setting. This is also very frustrating, so if you want to multi-task, i.e., book more than one gig, book studio time to record, etc, you have to pause the game, or snooze, you lose!
All in all, I like the concept of the game, but this really falls short.
