I have played it a little bit of this game and want to post my review in case someone wants to know weither to buy it or not.

With Rock Revolution, you can play the drum, the bass guitar, the guitar and sing. You use the microphone to sing and use the stylus to play the instruments.

Probably a lot of players will enjoy more the drum and the bass guitar (surprisly) than the guitar and vocal (in the bus???).

The drum is very funny and is my favorite instrument. You have a 3 cymbals, 3 tums and the bass drum. Imagine the feeling to hit them at the Expert level.

Then, the bass guitar is the next most interesting part because you have 4 strings on the screen that can be hit with the stylus as the arrows are moving on these strings.

Talking about the guitar, you have arrows that move in and out a circle in the middle of the screen and you must hit the stylus the way the arrows are pointed while crossing the circle; not very funny compared to the feeling of the bass guitar where there are arrows moving on 4 strings.

Talking about the singing... euh forget it because I am a very bad singer, I don't like to sing loud and can't imagine singing at home or in the bus.

About the gameplay, I'd sayt that the stylus is very well adapted to the gameplay. The challenge is well balanced to the level you chose and becomes harder within each level. You have a tutorial that explains simply how to use the voice and the instruments. You can play in a carreer mode or play a single song on the go. The graphics are a kind of Guitar Hero or Rock Band style and are correct for this kinda game.

To resume, I'd say this game is very interesting for the music lovers and is fun to play. However, I can't imagine I will spend a lot of time after I have went through the Expert level (compared to Rock Band on my PS3).

I subtract 1 point out of 10 because of the guitar that is not ver funny. I would have prefered to hear a guitar sound than a bass guitar strings sound while playing...

Ciao!
