Few racing games that use the isometric view successfully, for the longest time only RC pro-am on the NES could utilize this style of play and maintain a high level of fun. Rock and roll racing took this formula, added the element of rock tunes and delivered a first class gaming experience. Although the game didnt feature real, licensed music, it had very good representations of the tunes in question.

Add on top of that a fast paced racing experience complete with all the thrills. Wide variation of tracks and vehicles aside, this game also featured some ferocious traps, hazards and combat as well. This was the kind of game where beating it is just the beginning. Its so easy to pop this game in and just forget about everything for just a little while. Isnt that what we all got into gaming for in the first place?
