User Rating: 8.5 | Rock Band 2 PS3
Harmonix release Rock Band 2 the sequel to Rock Band which was released back in 2007 [yeah I just googled that]. The second time around, Rock Band 2 is almost completed unchanged. Their is A new setlist with almost two times as much songs, world tour you can now play online, the instruments are better, and lets not forget, all of the songs from Rock Band are exportable to Rock Band 2 for five dollars. The game is really fun and A blast to play with friends, but online the PS3 version is worse than the 360 because Harmonix barely plays on the PS3 and still haven't released the patch yet. This means, it takes forever to invite friends if you have alot of friends, you can't search for people with the same songs or anything in between. The graphics aren't bad but their not worthy of the ps3 or xbox 360. Luckily for you, this game isn't about the graphics. The setlist is mostly great and only has about ten or twenty unheard of songs [not including the free twenty songs]. The game is rather expensive if you don't have the instruments you'll have to pay ninety dollars at least for all of the instruments and the game. The game is alot of fun but they're is alot of frustrating time-taking things. It can take forever to select a song depending on how many you have. The more songs you have is suppose to be good but then it's harder to find people with the same songs and it takes longer to look for the song you want. After about two weeks your gonna need the first Rock Band or more songs which requires money. Rock Band 2 is worthy of the name and A great music/party game but make sure you have enough to spend on this game before buying it.
