Whoop some A$$ at 100 mph!
The gameplay for Road Rash is some of the best for racing games on the Saturn. It is exhilarating and hilarious while performing the basic functions of a motorcycle racing game. But this is also a fighting game since you can swat at fellow riders with your fist or chains and such. Another fun part of the game is mowing down pedestrians, old and young alike. They act basically like ramps, so it's nice they don't mess up your ride which is great! The game brings you around the country, my favorite being Napa Valley. The cut scenes after you win or lose a race are hilarious and slightly adult in nature.

Ok, so the graphics aren't really great, even for the Saturn. They tend to be a bit blocky, and what you get to see of the scenery is not especially spectacular.

I really underappreciated this soundtrack when I owned this game as a wee-one. Now, looking back I really enjoyed the music which is dominated by mid-90's hits from Soundgarden. Truly a fine selection of songs that get you ready for moto-combat.

This game is a good value with various options in career mode. Although for me it was a little difficult to work my way up the motorcycle gang ladder.

This was my favorite racing game on the Saturn and just a fun game to pick up and play anytime. If you still own the Sega Saturn you need to own this game! Again the graphics are a little blocky, but at 150 mph who cares!
