This game needs a Wii remake!!!
Nun-chuk to handle steering, braking and acceleration. Then the Wii-mote is basically your weapon. IT'S PERFECT!!!
As for the N64 version, it's graphics look sad by todays (and yesterdays) standards. That's pretty much the only bad point though. This game is so much fun if you're man enough to admit how juvenile you really are inside.
It seems that comedicly voilent games are going out of fashion these days. If you're the kind of person who would laugh at the idea of hitting your friends with sticks while belting down the freeway on a gnarley chopper, RR64 pretty much lives up to that fantasy.
The framerate drops a bit with 3 or 4 players, but it's still hella fun regardless. If you still have an N64 somewhere, look for this on Ebay, it will give you more hours of party enjoyment than you think.
Also, there's a proper soundtrack, and it rawks!
