Entertaining game that lacks depth

User Rating: 8.6 | Rise to Honour PS2
After playing a demo of this game i thought it was absoloutley great and so went out and bought it soon afterwards. However 2 days on and about 5 hours of gaming and it is back on my shelf :(
Its an excellent game but if you were hoping for days of gaming you will be very disapointed indeed.

Graphics - One of the shining points of the game. The graphics look almost real and when you see Jet Li up close you will appreciate the effort the designers have went to.

Sound - Its got some decent music and hong kong voices aswell as english. It can get slightly repetative with the "baddys" saying "im gonna get him" over and over again but overal the sound is pretty damn good.

Gameplay - The gameplay has been perfected due to the ingenious idea of using the right analog stick to attack. Gone are the days of bashing square and circle. You now have to time your flicks of the right analog to perfection and when you land a series of blows well you feel very good indeed.

Value - So you pay £40 for 5 hours of gameing ? It isnt worth £40 but if you can pick it up for about half that second hand then its well worth that much.

Overall - Despite not lasting very long Rise To Honour is pretty original with sweet graphics and damn good gameplay aswell. It may only last 5 hours or so but those 5 hours will be some of the best you have ever had.
