Who's the Genius who thought "Hey! The analog Sticks will make great attack Buttons!!!"?

I am a huge fan of Jet Li Movies and I was so looking forward t this when I bought my PS2 recently to play it. Got around to rent it today and the first thing I thought was "Who's The Genius who though the Analog Sticks would make great attack buttons?".

I Love the action sequences and the gun fights as well as the John Woo Atmosphere. But who ever the person was that thought that the analog sticks should be made into attack buttons must have been on some sort of illegal substances. Analog sticks are for Aiming, movement and maybe controlling the acceleration/braking in a racing game. NOT for attacking an opponent. The in game instructions states "Tap the right analog stick". I was not tapping the analog stick I was theoretically shifting gears on my car. Unlike games like Streets of LA and Urban Reign use a speceffic buttons for attacks this game uses the analog stick. I wonder if Sony Noticed this mistake to never repeat it again.

Game play.. It's ok except for the analog stick being used as the action button.
Fun.. It is fun for a while and then getting frustrated at using the analog button to attack people turned me off and is making me wants to get my 8 bucks CAN from Blockbuster Video.
Graphics.. Pretty nice actually but Jet Li's Face could have been a bit more detailed
Difficulty... the game is not as one can dodge just about every attack in the game
Best thing about this game? Jet Li's Voice and actual Moves.

All in all I am very disappointed in seeing one of my favourite action heroes being smeared in a crappy game. Kind of the feeling I got when I tested out The XBOX Bruce Lee Game (My Friends and I ranted on for days about that game being a terrible portrayal of Lee Jun Fan). In The end I am glad I rented it and did not pay the Extra Dollar to buy it used. This is one of those games that made me say "No Wonder it's in the bargain bin".
