Square Enix buying out Eidos Interactive was the best thing that could have happened to the Tomb Raider Game Series.
This series was on life support and seriously needed a big overhaul to remain relevant, Many old franchises are either dead or in big trouble, Square Enix was able to dig this franchise out of the rubble and bring it back to life.
The 2013 Reboot of the franchise was a fantastic surprise, Rise of the Tomb Raider improves upon it's predecessor in almost every way, One big issue i always had with the Tomb Raider games was how slow paced it was and how long it dragged between action sequences, Rise of the Tomb Raider no longer suffers from this issue, It is as high paced and thrilling as most gamer's demand from a modern game.
I was never too big of a fan of the Tomb Raider Series, But the reboot has definitely gotten me on board the Lara Croft Train.
