A great expansion with a better solo campaign.
The Cold War campaign would be the main reason why you would want to bother to play Thrones and Patriots. If you love C&C Red Alert, then this game should appeal to you in the same way plus a good combination of extra features rendering decision making an important factor here, complimentary to the "Risk" style board game strategy and a series of espionage side quests to allow an impressive variety of missions to partake in this ambitious campaign.
You will also find the Alexander, Napoleon and American campaigns which are sort of fillers cos of their standard conquest gameplay, but nevertheless, still good addons. Consider that you can get both the original and expansion in the repackaged bundle, it's worth getting for your RTS collection.
