I got this game with high hopes but it's still good.

Ridge Racer 7 is no different from the past games before this one. Same controls, same cars, same tracks and different music. Some songs you have to buy from the PlayStation Store but other stuff you can download for free. I don't know why but I thought Ridge Racer 6 was better and that game was exclusive to the Xbox 360. That game had more vehicles, better songs and even a customizable DJ. Ridge Racer 7 is still good but it got a little repetitive with the same racetracks and even racing in trials to unlock tune up parts for vehicles. A lot of cars you remember are still in this game but it sort of became like a racing sim just because of the qualification rounds. On some races, you have to downgrade your car and on other races, nitrous is not allowed. I don't know why but Ridge Racer 7 didn't do it for me like I thought it would. I honestly think Ridge Racer 6 was better because it had a lot more stuff.
