Gret game, but you've seen what it offers many times before.

Resistance is one of the first FPS games available for PS3 and is exclusive to that system. Unfortunately it can't be used as one of the reasons to own the system exclusively. Graphically it's average and nothing special. Enemy AI is dumb, just like in many other games of it's ilk. The story and the premise is original but it doesn't pull you in. You can find folders around that flesh out the story more, but I never really cared about searching around for them. I just found myself blowing through the game, going from checkpoint to checkpoint shooting the aliens and not really keeping track of the storyline or characters. That's unfortunate because I really hoped it would be on the same level of polish as Gears of War. Sadly, the story never really got me emotionally invested and at the end, I was ready for it to be over.
