Resistance is the first First Person Shooter i ever played (=O ), and the first game for my ps3, and it's pretty good.
Graphics : I was very impressed, as the first next gen game i played it blew made my eyes orgasm , Lol but if you've played other games on ps3, xbox 360 or pc, you'll think it looks a bit above average .... 8
Controls: The controls were fine, nothing wrong, but i've played other games that were more precise ... 8
Difficulty : The campaign's difficulty is just right and clearly was made to be this way .... but the online play on the other hand is the hardest online play in any first person shooter ever made in my opinion... ( though resistance 2 may be competition =P ) .... 7
Gameplay : killing enemies in the campaign is fun, running over them is more fun ( oooyeah! there's a level you can drive and it's a great time on co-op campaign =P ), the online play is way too difficult but it actually brings the competition up more in a way making it fun... but also kind of annoying since you will rarely win even if you master your accuracy and play everyday .... 7
Online play : IT'S WAY TOO HARD!! i'm no longer a FPS noob but its still incredibly difficult for me to win a match... there are 5 different modes and that's good but it's just frustrating to play for hours and never win .... 4
Value : there are about 6 different online play modes to try out, and will keep you occupied for sometime, and the campaign will keep you occupied for about 13 hours on normal difficulty .... and you can buy it for 10$ on amazon .... if you have a little bit of spare time and money, it's worthy of your investment =P .... 7
My scores average out too be a 7 .... if the online play was easier it would be a higher score.. but as is, it's still a decent game =P
