Resurrection Evil!

User Rating: 10 | Resident Evil: Revelations WIIU
Having played through on the 3DS I had very high expectations for a console version of Capcom's return to form with RE:Revelations. I don't believe any of these reviewers have played this game the way it's meant to be played. First, your missing out if you don't have or create an account on Residentevil.net and link your Wii U to that account. From your R.E. web page you can view stats and all that normal stuff, but you can also do some pretty amazing things like send items to your in game inventory, make dioramas, trick out your web page and gift supplies to your buddies. I've killed 247 zombies and collected 21 different weapons! There are (get this) 60 different rewarding RAID MISSIONS!!! The co-op is a blast and pimping out your character and weapons are insanely fun. The campaign is phat! and the linkage between your campaign play, the web site and RAID mode is spot on. It's a gorgeous game even though it's a "port" which I don't like calling it, because it feels new to me and the sheer amount of content is more than worth the 49.99 price tag. My only complaints are that 3D wasn't included on the Wii U version, and even though the tablet makes inventory a breeze (something that's always frustrated me in this series) - they could have utilized the tablet with the scanner mechanic that makes looking for loot so much fun in this game. Get the game now if you liked the earlier titles in the series, and read what the everyday gamers are saying and not the zombie game hating professional reviewers. For some of us, games are still toys and meant to be played, not tech demos. This game is fun and rewarding in so many ways it should be illegal!
