To begin things off with RE Outbreak you actually play as several survivors and you can pick one to play thru the game with. But the more times you play thru it with different characters the more you understand the story. The story is pretty good, if you have played any of the other RE games then you know the back ground of the story. Good things: the game actually feels a lot like a great adventure, the action is good enough to entertain you, even tho the game concentrates mostly on puzzles and trying to survive. There are some cool weapons for you to use such as guns , and there are also hand wepons to use, which is new in the RE series. The graphics turn out to be preety good, the enviroments, characters and creatures all look great. But the majority of the graphics was put into the cutscene, I really enjoyed them, they are very intertaining. The control are good, once you get use to them, which may take a while. The sound is good and the replay value is high.
BAD THINGS: I wish the computer would have been a bit smarter, it runs off and leaves you when you need help, or goes off and dies somewhere. sometimes the computer will pick up an item that you might need and move it somewhere else, which can be frustrating. also a lot of running back and forth a lot. OVER ALL: if you are a RE fan and have a couple of extra buck this is a great adventure game for you.
