Resident Evil Gaiden is the first(and thankfully last) RE for the GBC. It is intresting, but odd, game. In it, Berry Burton is sent to a ship called the Starlight, to destroy the B.O.W, and rescue Leon S. Kennedy(He's Leon, he dosen't need any saving...).
The controls are kind of bad, the player moves pretty quickly, but not too quickly, so the player's speed is just right. Altogether, the controls are decent, but not great.
The graphics are so out-dated, my sister said it hurt to watch. I think the graphics are truely spot on. Back in '02 anyway. They are Metal Gear style, possibly slightly more detailed.
The Gameplay is also Metal Gear-ish. Although, when a Enemy touches you, you go into a battle, like Final Fantasy. Only instead of summoning(That would be awesome....), you use a small bar, there's a crosshair on that bar, your crosshair is moving quickly, but if your cross comes with contact with the other crosshair, your enemy takes damage.
Overall, the game is okay, but I just did the main points. My review won't count, of course. Play the game yourself, if you want, I have a emulation.
