The Chronicles games have made the jump to HD from the Wii but is it worth the asking price.
The Umbrella Chronicles focuses on Resident Evil Zero featuring Rebecca Chambers and Billy Coen as the playable characters and taking key scenes from certain areas. At the end of each section there is a boss to go with it. The problem being is that you can be outnumbered sometimes and sometimes miss things by taking down baddies.
The other game features Resident Evil 1 where you control either Jill Valentine or Chris Redfield and the struggle through the mansion. Also the final game you play through is Resident Evil 3 Nemesis starring Jill Valentine. It is supposed to pinpoint the fall of the Umbrella Corporation but the game never really seems to get going and feels a bit slow and unless you know whats coming you will probably die at some point in a chapter and another problem is things like herbs don't carry over into the next section. Still if you have a mate you should find some entertainment to blast through it with but alone the AI seems particularly useless and is best experienced with another human player.

Now onto the Darkside Chronicles which sees Leon Kennedy and his partner Jack Krauser searching for someone called Javier Hidalgo is is reported approaching Umbrella and encountering certain BOWS. This resort to a flashback of Leon and Claire in the Raccoon City incident from RE2. The game feels such better paced and the inventory seems alot better with also the ability to collect money to upgrade you guns.
The other game is Resident Evil Code Veronica where Claire Redfield attempts to an Umbrella prison Facility and learn about the T Veronica Virus which Alfred and Alexia Ashford pocess. You also know how Albert Wesker got away and what happened to Steve Burnside. Both games seem to have an excellent pacing and that's not a surprise since both are 2 of the best in the series. Your AI partner at least gives you a helping hand at times but it still best to play with a friend. Overall the Darkside Chronicles is a massive improvement over Umbrella Chronicles and is certainly worth checking out.

Both games seem to have been given a nice upgrade from their Wii versions and it can be played with either a Playstation 3 joypad or the PS Move controller. Expect though there to be alot of Quick Time Events with Dodging and counterattacking.
Both games will roughly be about 6 to 8 hours and they have trophy support but no Platinum trophy. You could skip the Umbrella Chronicles and maybe just play the Darkside Chronicles since it is a massive improvement. Is it worth the asking price. Not sure it's a tough one. Depends if you like on rail shooters.
