Resident Evil 5 is my least favorite in the series, but its still a solid game that fans and action fans should play.

Resident Evil has been known for its creepy feel to it, as well as its story. The piniccle point has never been the gameplay, or at least for me. The classic games the controls are clunky. The tank controls that is. Now for starters Resident Evil 4 is my favorite. To me it was the creepiest, hardest, and perhaps the most intense game i've played. One man up against a village of crazy lunatics pretty intense.

Perhaps it was Capcom's attempt to appeal to a broader audince with Resident Evil 5 that makes it my least favorite. Adding a second person into the mix takes away from the thrill of horror the series has been known for. While it holds many simliarites to 4 gameplay wise, it takes much of the enjoyment and makes you feel like the Hunter instead of the Hunted. By all means its not a bad game there is still a thrill of excitment to it that I very much enjoy. Where Resident Evil 5 lacks its stories and charcters make up for it. Towards the end of the game there is a heartfelt seen in which my heart dropped to my stomach. The music for the battle set the mood making it one of my favorite gaming moments in history. Its got some very gorgeous graphics but some down right boring scenery which makes the game difficult to play All in all Resident Evil 5 is a great journey that I will remember more for its top notch story rather than its gameplay. As a newcomer the the series it is still my least favorite gameplay wise but storywise it more than makes up for it. As long as Resident Evil is made I will continue to play it.

I know many fans were dissapointed and see as i'm new this gen to the series and backplaying the old I understand why. However combining actin and survival horror is one thing that companies will need to to. and Resident Evil 5 is still a good game for this gen. Now capcom just needs to bring back the creepness to the RE series. 8/10
