Although I am not very far into the game, I can easily give it a perfect score based on what I have experienced so far. The RE series has outdone itself with this latest installment. Gameplay: Controls are perfect and you get used to them almost immediately. The way the game is played is very enjoyable and not tedious like in previous RE games. The inventory section has been greatly improved and you no longer have to worry about not being able to holding a newly found item. Graphics: The visuals are just amazing. No pre-rendered cutscenes, but that's okay since the in-game graphics are simply incredible. Although I first missed the classic pre-rendered backgrounds, I soon began to appreciate the intricate details put into this 3d world. Sound: Sound effects and music are flawless. I can't really describe them well enough here so you just have to go buy your own copy and hear it yourself. You will not be disappointed...especially if you have surround sound. Value: Finally we have a rather lengthy RE to play with. No more 3 hour runs through the game thanks to all the story put into this one. There is always something to do in this new RE world and you never get bored of it. Whether you are following the directions or simply exploring, there is always something new to do and an extra difficulty level and mini game when you finish the main game. Resident Evil 4 is a definite purchase and will always stay in a high place amongst my collection. Gotta go play now...
