The best Resident Evil game on the PS1.

User Rating: 10 | BioHazard 2: Dual Shock Ver. PS
Sure there was Resident Evil, but Resident Evil 2 is what really kick started the series and shot it forward into infamy.

Weighing in on 2 CDs, this massive zomebie filled game had you controlling not one but two different characters throughout the game. The animation at the time was excellent (albeit laughable by todays standards when looking back at it) and the gameplay was so addictive.

Wherein you were you stuck in a giant mansion in the first RE, this time you are placed in an entire city. Throughout your survival you will come across many colorful (and not always nice) characters.

Upgrading weapons was the pinnacle point for this game as it allowed a deeper depth of strategy. Plus who doesn't like getting creative on ways to kill zombies!

The plotline itself was immersive and if you wanted to get the entire full story, you had to play both characters. Adding in addition to that, there were also 4 different endings to attain, thus adding to the replayability factor.

If there was one game out there I would love to see remade with modern graphics, it would be this game.

If you love zombies, awesome action, lots of replayability, and a very dark storyline then you definitely need to give this game a go.
