Games should not just be rated by graphics. Resident Evil 2's graphics are decent, but the rest of the game rules!

The creepy music, the deformed zombies, those quick lickers, the secrets in the sewers. Resident Evil 2 has almost all the creepy things you could think of. So what if the graphics aren't that good, I mean, they aren't horrible, they are pretty decent. Resident Evil 2 brings you the sequel to the first where you play as rookie cop Leon Kennedy, and Claire Redfield, sister of Chris from the first Resident Evil.

The gameplay is like all classic Resident Evil's. Fixed angles, off screen shots, etc. But the story is great and the events can turn out different by the way you play the game. Another cool feature is you can play two sides to the story from Leon and Claire's point of veiw. But the best part is the "B" game, where the events from how you beat the first game effect how the B game will turn out. Which means, different endings, enimies, deaths, and storyline.

The weapons are pretty cool too. I am a complete die-hearted Resident evil fan, but that doesn't mean that's the only reason I like it. If you like creepy games, with scary turn outs and monsters, you should like this game.

Who cares if it's a port from the Resident Evil 2 on the PS. It is still good.

And for all who say "Why pay $40 for this old game," who cares if it's old. Games should not just be rated by graphics. Resident Evil 2's graphics are decent, but the rest of the game rules!

It's creepy and scary, and most of all the story is excellent. It is almost completely worth buying this game just for the story.
I must say, Resident Evil 2 is probably the Resident Evil that has the best story. This game has amazed me and is probably my favorite of the Resident Evil series.

Overall, a great game, and if you look past the graphics, then you will appreciate the real meaning of the game.
