Red Faction Guerrilla has made it to the PC and with the GeoMod 2.0 engine you can blow up almost anything!

You can detonate charges, fire rockets and even smash through buildings with sledgehammers to get the job done and everything reacts realistically. PC gamers get extra singleplayer content such as additional modes and multiplayer maps. It is a brilliant PC game though just make sure you have the hardware to handle it.

Red Faction Guerrilla is tied into Games for Windows Live so you have to use your gamertag associated with your Xbox 360. This gives you access to online modes and allow you to earn achievements.

Playing Red Faction Guerrilla with a keyboard and mouse translates well, although after playing the Xbox 360 version I found a bit of a learning curve when adjusting to the keyboard methodology. Using the WASD keys to drive the vehicles was nit very intuitive but obviously the combat and shooting side of the game with the mouse and crosshair are very much superior that using a gamepad.

You need a very capable gaming PC to get the ultimate experience from it but those with relatively modest modern hardware will be able to enjoy it with a few settings lowered.

GAMEPLAY - 8.5
Still very addictive, great damage model and good multiplayer.

GRAPHICS - 8.4
I think very few people will be playing this effectively at very high resolutions.

SOUND - 6.5
Voice acting is very dull.

VALUE - 8.8
Solid online game and includes 10+ hours of singleplayer.

OVERALL - 8.5
