May not be genre changing, but the gunplay and destructive mechanics make for one fun game
STORY: You are one of the Masons, a family that seems to always have issues on Mars. After a simple job, you accidently unless hell on mars. Now you have to fix it. The game's story is not changing any ideas on the video game, but it does just enough to pull you through
GAMEPLAY: It is a third person shooter, with a destructive idea on the brain....just about everything in the environment can be destroyed and enjoyable weapons help make this more of a fun experience. There are two multiplayer modes. Ruin Mode and Infestation Mode. Ruin mode is the competetive mode. You are put in an area and given some weapons and your objective is to clear out buildings before the time runs out. You get scored and these are posted ala leaderboards. The Infestation Mode is horde mode. Both are enjoyable and really gives you a fun time.
PRESENTATION: It looks decent and doesn't push anything
This game is actually really really fun and if you are looking for a environmental destruction game, this is it.
