Red Dead Revolver has its flaws. It's graphics aren't too great, there are a fair share of corny lines, and some of the enemies are ridiculous in some aspects. If you can get past t things like these, which is not hard, you'll see that RDR is actually a very entertaining and addictive game. The gameplay is absolutely the main focus of RDR. It alows you to see past the graphical laziness and just enjoy blowing the crap out of the badies. Features such as "dead eye" are so freakin' awesome! It goes into slow-mo and you line up your 6 shots. Then you pump six bullets into a guy in .5 seconds. Not too many game offer this kind of pleasure. Another tight feature is the duel mode(especially when you duel 2 people at once). You draw your gun and just watch as you waste them down as they fall in slow-mo. am I a sadist? Maybe... but the fact remains that this game pulls you in and wont let go. If you are a fan of the western genre, even the movies, you will get some good times out of this one. Everthing you like about the western theme makes some sort of an apearance. It even offers some modernized elements such as the bullet time used in "dead eye". Even if you're neutral as far as westerns go, this game is at least worth a rental. Though it has its problems, RDR's style and gameplay overshadow them enough to make it very enjoyable.
