No nightmare here just an extension of a really good dream!!!
If you enjoyed the game, undead nightmare not only in my view is way out there!!! so original and unexpected, funny too!!!
You really are treated with the same as before with the only change being everything is zombified!!! this actually makes for a great challenge, they arnt easy to hit and with semi limited ammo its a challenge. Using the dead eye helps and the gore is fantastic, blowing zombies head off is the most efficient and ammo saving way to get through he add on.
The visuals have been spookified, everything seems very "eerie in Indiana"and the zombiefied locals look awesome. They'll run, scream, and eat you where ever they can. There are varying styles of man eaters roaming around to add variety and spice. Animals are all undead and really nasty to you, where as before you could get away with sometimes scaring the animals away, not here. Its got a real spooky feel to it the wind howls trees wobble and its all so dark, its almost scary to play.
With mini games and sharpshooter rewards etc and some horses that are certainly peculiar, including the four hidden ones that magically appear randomly, flower challenges and random save the locals, oh no they're a zombie too!!! games keeps everything solid.
I will say you ll do a lot of horse riding unless you "travel" from destination to destination, but that's no fun is it and you wont meet the local nut jobs on the way that wanna bite your face off for dinner !!!
With some real thought gone into making this and what a different direction rock star went, i still cant get my head round it, i mean how many zombie cowboy films have you seen, brilliant !!!
Simply great fun and a welcomed addition to an already well established game, im so glad i bought this, i suggest you do the same.
