It may be the darkest in the series, but it's one of the funnest.
He's not alone though. to make up for clank, Ratchet has the help of two battle bots, Merc and Green. They provide good comic relief while more than making up for Clank's battlefield absence.
Picking up a few weeks after UYA, Ratchet is kidnapped to fight in Dreadzone, a gladiator tournament like Annihilation Nation from the previous game. There are many more levels than previous game, and the action is narrated by Juanita and Dallas, providing more comic relief but not doing anything else.
There are only 10 weapons in Deadlocked, but they can be customized with Omega mods and Power-ups. Don't be disappointed though, because all of them pack a powerful punch. You have the standard: rocket-launcher, the sniper rifle, and pistol. But you are given some more unorthodox weapons, like the Scorpion Flail, so don't be disappointed.
Overall it's a fun game, definitely worth it for any fan or newcomer to the series.
