A blast from the past..

User Rating: 8 | Ratchet & Clank PS3

First and foremost, this review is based on the HD version of this game, as I have played it for many hours as a child, but have recently discovered the HD version on the PS Store.
Okay, now onto the good stuff.
The game itself is exactly like how it was on the PS2, which was such a relief as a few HD versions of PS2 games I have played have been slightly different, for example, videos on Youtube have shown that the HD version of Final Fantasy X have shown that the music and some aspects of the gameplay have changed, which is such a shame as that game holds many memories for me.
The graphics, however, have been updated flawlessly and during gameplay you tend to forget that the game was intentionally made for the PS2, not the PS3.
If you have never played this game then you are in for a treat!
It's a fun platform/action game with a nice little hint of comedy.
The characters are infectious and the game is hard to stop playing.
Each world is made with an array of beautiful colours and the missions are challenging at times, but completely do-able.
The only reason I give this game an 8 rating rather than 10, is purely because once you have completed all of the missions and you want to earn money for the best weapons to kill the final boss, it is a huge slog in order to get the bolts you need as there isn't much left around any more to earn money from, as appose to the second game where there are the arenas and hoverbike courses.
