Ratchet and Clank is still Ratchet and Clank. And that is not a bad thing in the case of this game.

Once again, our favorite odd couple Ratchet and Clank are to save the world. They will have new weapons, new moves, and a new mediocre story. Sound familiar? You betcha. But that is not a bad thing. There are several new weapons to be had, and each weapon has eight upgrades, three of which are unlocked upon completing the game. Just to go the extra mile, Insomniac added a first-person button so you could snipe out your foes. This time around, the story is lacking, but is filled with humor, including a hilarious Britney Spears knock-off which will make you laugh. The game's graphics are good, but no "wow" moments, as goes for the soundtrack. But the game's real fun lies in the two new modes: Battle Missions and Multiplayer. The battle missions are similar to war games, except you are the unstoppable force. I have played through each one several times, and as I blow stuff up, I laugh like a retarded monkey having a seizure every time. The multiplayer has the same effect, except you can hear your teamates laughing as well. As for the multiplayer, imagine Halo's multiplayer except with more emphasis on jumping. Fun ensues. So at the end of the day, Ratchet and Clank is still an excellent game. It will entertain you, but it won't take your love of the series to the next level. This game is still a must-play though.
