Rachet and clank on the PSP proves that size doesnt matter. Editors choice

User Rating: 9.5 | Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters PSP
The Good: Has everything youd see in a rachet and clank game. looks great. Great sound effects and music. Decent story. Lots to collect and upgrade.

The bad: Some visual oddities. Annoying camera. Not that hard of a game and can be beaten in 6 Hours

Rachet and clank size matters Is Awesome. I think R&C first PSP outing is one of the best PSP games available. (For a small price)

Rachet and clank are at the beach, hoping for a break from all that hero stuff . But then a girl named luna apears and gets kidnapped . From there, its all about the discovery of TECHNOMITES.

The story is decent . You will be focused on the gameplay more, but rachet and clank tosses in great humor and a shocking twist that overall provide a story worth seeing

But thats a minor part of size matters.

High Impact games managed to fit many qualities from a PS2 R&C game. You get all of the (mostly) powerful weapons, a new armor system with certain effects (one allowing you to be on fire.),And platforming. All which works out great.

Jumping is handled with X while you attack with square shoot with O and interact with triangle. Camera movement is done by L and R you crouch by holding L an R at the same time, strafe with the directionals and move with the analog stick. The controls work well. The only snag in the controls are the camera. While nothing really bad, adjusting the camera while getting piled by 15 enemies can be deadly and frustrating.

The classic Rachet and clank gameplay is superb and its totally awesome to have it on a portable system. The useful wrench and the addicting weapon upgrade system is brought in with no noticable tweaks.Youll have a blast jumping shooting hitting and upgrading. The added armor system adds some more replayability and the well hidden titanium bolts that unlock special content does too.

The graphics look almost like a PS2 rachet and clank game. While there are some visual oddites (like the trees in the background on the 2nd planet.)lightning is beautiful, textures are mostly detailed (some look simple and bland)and no matter what huge explosion/destruction you cause, the framerate remains steady.

The music is often intense and the sound is totally hard hittng. Every character delivers there lines perfectly , adding more to the humor.

Overall despite these issues. Rachet and clank size matters is tottaly rad! i love the gameplay, graphics, sound, story, Everything. Id reccomend this to any rachet and clank fan, and even those who dont even know the lombax and the one liner robot. So what are ya waitnig for? go to a gamestop near you and buy size matters!
